Here is an ancient, wise proverb I came across today:

“Make hay while the sun shines—that’s smart; go fishing during harvest—that’s stupid.”

This wise word shows two ways to handle seasons of time.

Either use it to make profit or spend it for immediate gratification.

Good leadership demands wise use of time and seasons.

Do you want to use today for just today? Or do you want to use today to create a legacy?

  • Great proverb. We have to know when to work and when to rest. When the time is ripe for harvest we better be ready and willing to work hard.

    • Yes, Dan. It is wise to maximize opportunities.
