There is something significant about the tasks we do again and again. Slowly but steadily, these begin to define who we are and what we are known for.

In other words, consistency builds credibility.

For example, if you want to be known as a financial management expert, do work in that field consistently. If you want to be known as a social entrepreneur, do work in that area consistently.

Whatever you do consistently for a long period of time works in favor of your expertise and credibility.

The flip side of this is, if you work in a domain, which you don’t like, for a considerable number of years, you will still be perceived as an expert in that area!

So carefully choose your area of work which you will later become known for.
